I don't really agree with Catz much as I honestly find it hard to believe the majority of viewers would watch an only NA tournament. I think a good comparison is to look at other sports, most of the time amateur tournaments or tournaments without the best of the best in are rarely actually broadcast as they don't pull enough viewers. I'd say it's especially important in eSports as the game itself is the main pull, it's also a 1v1 so if you've got 2 players who maybe are not at the same level as the best, it really wouldn't be as interesting to watch. | ||

I think there would be viewers for a foreigner only (or NA only, or EU only or whatever) tournament, just don't expect as high numbers as for a real tournament. There are so many people complaining in LR threads when the last foreigner gets eliminated (so, basically past Ro16  ). I bet there would be an audience. That way we could get rid of the pity seeds in the real tournaments too, giving them more legitimacy. | ||
