Considering all that's been said, I'd just have to say that JP and Incontrol are pretty much irreplaceable parts of the show. A big thank you for both of you for everything you've done for the SOTG.

Since you'll be contracted to 3 shows/month does this mean Day9 and Artosis will be out since they are always so busy? I'd hate to lose them.

Just say you're doing a show next week JP so everyone has to show up. Would be cool if we could see Rotterdam and/or Bitter on to hear about how they're liking NASL and all that. And mostly just to hear their opinions on everything thats been going on. So many tournaments and amazing GSL results I'd really be interested to hear Geoff and Tyler's opinion on Naniwa and MVP's games.

they could just bring in replacement guests for day and artosis when they miss

Well if they are required to do 3 shows a month I would imagine they could set up dates WELL IN ADVANCE to accomodate everyone! We've got JP, Day9, iNcontroL, and Artosis all flying around what seems like every weekend. It seems JP will be stationed in NYC for quite some time unless he can cast MLG stuff from home.

Actually State Of The Game is run by Blizzard, thus why we always hear coming soon and still wait long periods of time. :D

So I will bet anything that they are contracted with CBSi and Gamespot(CBSi is Gamespot's parent company). JP has left enough clues to fiqure this out. 1. He said Brad Shoemaker was there for a reason. Giantbomb was just bought my CBSi. 2. An editor at Gamespot was talking about the changes coming to the site saying they are going more indepth into gaming rather than covering everything thinly. 3. IGN has been pushing e-sports hard and Gamespot has replied by having slasher covering starcraft for them. 4. He said it was a top 10 site, Gamespot falls in this catagory. I normally hate commenting but I thought I would get this out there.

standard understandings of sex = your possession of one of the above. If you have or would, barring some event or circumstance, have one of the above, you are of the relevant sex.

standard understandings of gender = your possession of various traits, primarily physical but also cultural that are typically associated with a given sex.

Of the two, we can fairly say that 'sex' is the most objective construct as it is based on non-subjective and invariable criteria. That is to say, if you produce sperm, you are male. If you produce eggs you are female. If you produce both you are a hermaphrodite. However, outside of biological science, this definition is kind of useless, especially when dealing with something as incredibly complex as human culture. Hence gender, hence people oversimplifying it.

This is kind of what I was thinking as well. Sounds like a good possibility.
