Well, Google plus is much easier and .... sexier I guess?
It is better IMO, but as I said its just another social network, but sexier.

Well Facebook can do the friend's list + limited wall posts too (in a clunky way), but G+'s sekret sauce is the ability to add people without having them add you back (ala Twitter).

This is exactly why. HoN is doing a major push by trying to get themselves in every major event. They've been added to NASL, speculation for IGN and are everywhere now. Valve doesn't want that. They want all of the competitive dota-esque players in the world to get ready to play dota2.
Exactly, both LoL and HoN are really starting to take their share of the market. Valve is using good old shock and awe tactics to retake the parts that have been lost to them.
Also, its not guaranteed that all the DotA1 fanbase will carry over to DotA 2. Valve is smart and they know they need to do something to become Dominant.
Of course, with how the videogame market is you can never know

I'll just be one to say that I didn't have a problem with Geoff leaving in the slightest, nor with the way the new shows had worked out. However, something just felt right tonight
Great to have the crew back, especially with Artosis on full time now. This is a stellar group of five. Love me some SotG forever<3.

Isn't that pirat bird drawing the one that's on the handsome nerd t-shirt?

<3 SotG with geoff. Feels back to normal/complete. So good.
Also ya Tyler, if you saw him between matches or OTW to/from his matches he pretty much looked like he was ready to kill any/everyone. He looked like a serial killer. It was kinda terrifying. but at the same time i completely understand. Everyone has their own mental preparation they do pre-game. Some people jump up and down and scream. Some get really quiet. Some people just pretend like everything is normal. Every person has their own way of mentally preparing.
I was one of those guys who just simply didnt speak and didnt talk to/listen to anyone in the locker room before a football game. it was just how i prepared mentally, so i completely understand what he was saying.
TBH i am not sure how people didnt see his face/mannerisms and not realize he didnt want to be bothered.
Pro's should WANT people to want their autograph. But at the same time I know they are there to compete, and everyone has their own preparation routine.
Also going to totally be playing Dota2 and SC2 as my main games. I have played Dota, LoL and Hon, and Dota is by far my favorite, but the graphics are so outdated. So Dota 2 will be perfect for me. LoL is just too gimmicky imo. HoN isn't original enough for me to choose it over dota.

State of the game is so good when Incontrol is on. It just brings out something in everybody else. Not to take anything away from Leah but like I feel like Geoff can go on and on about a single subject, and keep it interesting throughout.

Def a good episode today.. please keep them like this. Incontrol is a must have for sotg imo
|
Great episode tonight, glad to see Geoff again

The first sotg for a long time that I'll listen a 2nd time (and perhaps more, I listened some of them 4-5 times) THEY TALKED ABOUT THE GAME, ALLELUIA.

Not a fan of incontrol but I'll admit he does make the show a lot better
JP just seems more happy with geoff back, laughing and being more laid back. After inc left, JP asked questions and it was just straight forward answers. Now they go off-topic a little more but that's what made the show better, small jokes and rants.

I agree with Tyler that players should be able to be left alone so they can focus on their next match and they should be left alone after losses. I also think they shouldn't be bothered when they're trying to eat, head to their room to sleep, or go to the bathroom. People enjoy the events whether they get autographs or not, so it's not like any pro is "ruining e-sports" by wanting to be left alone when they are trying to stay in the competitive mindset.
And just a question- Who was the "Towel Terran" again? Artosis said who it was but I forgot.

Really enjoyed tonights episode. I even enjoyed the pre Geoff comeback episodes, but they are better with him. Actually, I'd say this one was better than the last few before the break.
