Cool show, missed this show lot, and the direction is quite nice, there was more solid discussion about the game itself, and lesser of the drama aspect. Incontrol will surely be missed, but this was nice too.

Like artosis as a new pillar, he knows a lot, and also brings the korean scene viewpoint of the game.

It wasn't as funny as with Inc. However, they could cover more topics because Inc was soooo long winded. Overall, loving it.

Agreed, also artosis is a solid addition. I was a bit worried about geoffs exit and his replacement but im satisfied with artosis, the dynamic of sotg will ofc change a bit away from the full on comedic trolling but its still a damn good show :D

Was pretty solid overall it seems like the sc2 discussion was much better than previous shows. Artosis sc2 knowledge is much better than Incontrols.

I like the new direction of the show where its a bit more focused on the game and not so much the drama. It sucks not having incontrol he added a lot to the show and can't be replaced but artosis is about the best they could of hoped for as far as replacements go.

The episode was great, well worth the wait.

Artosis is a perfect pick. The show seems to have matured a lot compared to what it used to be (especially in some of the recent episodes).

Actually I found the actual jokes and humor in general to be much higher level as well. =)

Great STOG, the entire cast was devoted to just talking about the game and the competitions, very little side tracking. Looking forward to next week

I missed the show but did they talk about if incontrol was coming back on in the future? I think it was LO3 where alex garfield? said he was free to if he wanted/JP was ok with it

Was a great show this week. Miss Geoff, and I think I always will lol. He brought an element of humor to the show that I really enjoyed. Despite that, adding Artosis was pretty awesome. It was great seeing how he and Day9 interacted with each other.

The only complaint that I have (other than no iNcontroL), and it's a small one, is the length of the show. Hopefully with the viewer questions and stuff next week it will make for a longer show.

I have to say though, if this is what JP is doing full-time for MLG (along with main events and such) it was a great move. The production quality was much higher than in the past. In particular when someone was dropped from the call. There wasn't a messed up screen for 10 minutes. It was fixed almost immediately. Great job JP, and great to have SotG back!!!

PLEASE JP upload this episode as soon as humanly possible.... then again youre no ordinary human youre a serious Starcraft community loving machine. So as soon as JP-humanly possible. I was only able to catch the end and my car broke down so it would help make my night suck slightly less if I could watch or at least listen to all the news from tonight's episode.

What did I think of the new State of the Game? It was alright, but definitely not quite the same. There was very little discussion and mostly each person just stating their opinions with nobody contesting it. There wasn't as much in depth discussion or excitement, and it definitely lacked in the humor department. Overall, it just didn't feel quite the same. Fortunately, I have a solution!

That's right JP, make it happen! We all know Geoff wants to be back on State of the Game (he seems like it anyway from what he has said on his stream, of course I cannot speak for him), and we the fans want him back too! Remove that silly eagle (probably influenced by Tyler's American pride

) and bring back the big strong pillar who held everything up.

EDIT: Just for the record, whether or not Geoff comes back or not, Artosis was probably the best person you could've picked as a pillar. He's knowledgeable, funny, longtime friends with Tyler and Day[9], and also has a unique perspective living in Korea and casting for GSL. Definitely made the best out of a (in my opinion) bad situation.
