Tyler and Idra seem essential. Tyler since it's impossible not to love him, plus he is a toss, a TL member, has extensive knowledge of the scene and, well, the list is long ; Idra because he is always in the eye of the storm and also because once he gets verbal, he's capable of the most interesting game analysis you can find out there.
I'd go for Destiny to "replace" Incontrol without any hesitation (provided the other guys can work with him), very outgoing, provocative, skilled enough, entertaining (and because Tyler and Idra need someone to shake them a bit, otherwise they're too introverted imo, and that's something Inc was good at), doesn't mind creating some drama...and I don't care about his choice of vocabulary.
I'd still like a terran to join the crew too. Don't know much about US terrans but provided a UK guy can fit in (time of the show could be an issue), DeMuslim is the first name that comes to my mind....

To be honest, wheat, he was just expressing his opinion. He may have not had all the facts, but this is certainly coming over the top with what any unknown TL poster would get banned for ;x
Some people think HuK had a relatively easy path (avoiding MC, Bomber), others think match-ups have been slightly favoring Protoss in recent months. There's some merit and there's some bullshit, but I don't think it's so outlandish as to start swinging axes around.

Well Wheats not getting mad at the guy for disagreeing with him, he's mad at the idiot for claiming that he starts drama for no reason without backing it up with any proof. If the poster had just said he disagreed I dont think he would have re-acted that way, and if he had I'm sure even he would have been banned. However the poster made it personal first.

I love the show, I would just like to suggest acquiring a pro-level Terran. Someone who can give more insight into Terran play, strategies, the metagame, and other Terran players. For example, I remembered looking forward to hearing in-depth analysis about the Thor nerf, but all I heard was, "boy, we're glad we don't have to deal with that strategy anymore."

Artosis would be a great choice ^^. Destiny second and husky third. It's tough since incontrol was both a pro player AND a comedian on the show so he's hard to replace.

2. no relationship to the other pillars; the regulars on the show all knew each other from way back when (except JP, correct me if I'm wrong, but he's a baller and the host) which was part of what made SotG great
3. he is pretty busy and I don't think he has the grasp of analytical abilities like Idra, Tyler, or Day9

Goddamn I miss SOTG. I would follow Inside the Game but it always comes on during working hours for me, and to be honest I forget to keep up with the VODs.
That, and for some reason I liked how meandering and never-ending SOTG was.

MC would be awesome, I haven't listened to that cast he did but if he can do a cast that length reasonably well I guess he would be ok? I don't know how well he would do with one of the more analytical debates though. I think the best candidate for replacement would be Idra since he's been on so much, but idk what his schedule is like or if he really wants to detract so much time from his playing.

wheats attitude/persona is completely unappealing. anyone else feel like he saw sc2 and decided to latch on because he thought it would be big? he doesnt feel genuine in anything he does. and what exactly is his relationship with EG?
as for SOTG, take your time JP. the show wont ever be the same, but thats not necessarily a bad thing.
