this is the reason they probably feel the need to protect their personality on their streams. and on their streams they feel like they are showcasing themselves and not the game. Incontrol and Tyler, feel the other way. Tyler had a previous history with his conduct but nowadays he sees the growth of the community and he acts real professional. these two guys believe that when they stream they are showcasing the game and the community that surrounds it. it's purely a philosophical difference, the guys got nowhere when they argued about it. The only thing i can say is that, all of them agreed that when they were casting for a tournament, they would try to restrain their language, even destiny and Idra agreed here. What makes it so that a tournament becomes more of a showcase for the game, moreso than a stream? Destiny and Idra's streams both get more viewers than tons of tournaments, doesn't that mean if you're more likely to offend people by saying something controversial on the stream. though then again, Destiny shouldn't give a fuck about that on their stream since there's clearly an explicit language bar for his stream, and not on most other streams. his viewers should know what they're getting into | ||
