very good game with haypro against a protoss, starts of a bit slow with both players expanding then second half is just a huge battle all the time, very fun game | ||

He could have spent the minerals on more barracks, an expansion, marines, and depots, but instead... nothing. And it's not as if you ended it right then - the gas delay made no difference in the game other than being annoying. By the time he lost, he'd had enough gas to blow 400-some on 3 banshees he never does anything with and cloaking technology so they can feel ninja killing 4 lings. He's diamond but his "micro" is nonexistant, with hellions just sitting there getting killed by lings that don't even have a surround, no scanner sweeps to spot the banelings he knows you have, no sieges to cover his army, always pushes the exact same way with the exact same army comp you've already countered, etc. But it's "so gay" how you blocked his gas for a minute or whatever. Pathetic. | ||

He didn't split his workers, didn't rally his nexus to empty mineral patches, forgot his 2nd pylon, planted his first gate late, late core. Seems a bit sloppy to be him or? Watching the rest of the replay atm. seems like he was just a bit sleepy in the beginning :p | ||

Pathetic. It blocked for 2:55 (as he was about to drop a refinery @ 13) so it was a pretty substantial setback for him. CC doesn't work as he can't defend it vs banelings with marines, so that's kinda the beauty of this build, but ya, in the long run he could have still done so much better than he did, but T players are so caught in a cookie cutter build that they've found to be uber successful vs z that stuff like this throws them off their entire game. Onwards.. Any Z players having trouble stopping the 6 pool. I just upped a replay showing how to defend a 6 pool+spine with 13 pool. He didn't split his workers, didn't rally his nexus to empty mineral patches, forgot his 2nd pylon, planted his first gate late, late core. Seems a bit sloppy to be him or? Watching the rest of the replay atm. seems like he was just a bit sleepy in the beginning :p Also, it's been confirmed that splitting your workers does not help at all. | ||

If you split your workers perfectly, your 2nd probe will not get delayed at all. Does it help? Dunno, is there a difference? Yes. | ||

It was tested by someone like a month ago. A perfect 3-3 split generated something like 5 extra minerals over a simple box and click over the first 5 minutes. It probably depends somewhat on how good you are at splitting and mineral patch choices, but its not a big deal. | ||
