From me, it is just as the retail version. I think you can use a retail key to play it. How? Simple as they said, after installing (not before 27th July) just click Skip instead of Activate (where you will buy the license). After just Add your product key... et voila... After in the game just login with your bnet account with a SC2 license. The activate fonction (or the link they put) is only if you want to buy the key digitally. For whether the website is legit or not, lol, I discover the website when clicking on Community from the beta in game menu... so not worry here. The log info looks like that ![[image loading]](http://s1.postimage.org/dGNpJ-75a571d4d840f6cff60bbcc81b87ba38.png) I am just happy so I can use the EU key I preorder while beeing in SEA (my Parents are in France). | ||

UPDATE: Used a packet sniffer to see what the installer does, among other things it tries to get an auth code from a file on battle.net website. http://eu.battle.net/static/mediakey/sc2-authenticationcode-enGB.txt Atm this only says "MSG:27/07/2010" , it will probably change on launch the with the code it requires. In the meantime it seems the E from the .MPQE file extension stands for encrypted, as it can't be opened with any conventional MPQ viewer. That's what I've managed to find out so far, so you won't be able to install SC2 without hacking the installer. | ||
