My guess is the stores may be opening early for no good reason. I haven't heard any info regarding the fact that servers will be up and running for activations before 10AM PST - someone post me the source of the info if they heard otherwise. Digital copy is the same as the retail game, and retail games cannot activate until a certain time on the 27th. I bet that time is 10am and not 0 h. Anyway that said, maybe I'm underestimating the intelligence (or communication between them and blizzard) of retail stores? I just see it strange that they won't give keys/activation until ~10 hours after registered copies are given activation... | ||

Servers will be up at midnight so when you get your copy you can install and play right when you get it. | ||

Will digital copies of StarCraft II be available as soon as the game is released in stores? No. They’ll go on sale slightly later, on 27/07/2010 10:00 CEST in Europe and Russia. u not only have to activate digital copy, but you have to purchase it. you have to wait later to purchase not to install (at least that's my rationale) | ||

I guess this confirms that the region is locked with the client and to play the game in English I'll have to play in NA. That probably also goes for the boxed version of the game, you'll be locked to the region from where you bought the game. | ||
