1Robot is looking for StarCraft 2 players of any skill level. We are brand new and looking to create a positive and stimulating experience for all players.
Our goal right now is to focus on the talent that is unfound and to make them emerge as gamers. There are Thousands and thousands of platinum, diamond, and master players out there who are trying to get better and to get promoted. The first step to achieving a better skill level is to treat to each player with the same respect as pro players and the best way to accomplish this is by very simply treating each player as equal. As of this posting, I'm Rank 7 Diamond on ladder. I'm looking for some people to practice with (Platinum and Diamond mainly, I don't think I'm close to pushing Masters yet) as I've found that trying out new strategies and trying to keep climbing the ladder don't necessarily go easily together, and that SC2 can be a lonely landscape.
However, here's where some difficulties come in: I work a lot. And by a lot, I mean an absolutely ridiculous, inhumane amount. A typical week for me is 70+ hours, sometimes breaking 90, including Saturdays and one full weekend a month. So, as much as I'd like it to be different, I'm not the guy you can count on to be there for every single clan war, or every practice session. What I can offer, though, is being someone who is willing to practice a lot when I do get on, be a friendly and supportive member of a small community, coach those of lower skill levels, observe games to help others get better, and generally share in the fun that is SC2 while hoping to enjoy the social element that such a wonderful game so severely lacks (and kick the occasional zerg ass for the good of the team).
