In less than three months the team became recognized as a top team in North America and became sponsored. A professional website was created, apparel was designed, and the roster grew stronger. After a few top three finishes in team leagues, Without FAME expanded and took on a Counter Stirke: Source team. Shortly after picking up the CS:S squad, a few of their players quit after a disappointing result in CAL. Near the end of 2008, the sponsor pulled out for unknown reasons, and unable to find a new sponsor, some of Without FAME's star players left. Soon after, the website was shut down. The core members who remained continued to play in team leagues for fun as a clan of friends, but Without FAME was no longer a prominent team in North America. Without FAME has now been remade as a Starcraft II team in April of 2012. What is expected from Without FAME members: + Show Spoiler + - Good sportsmanship and positive attitude - Own a Playhem account and participate in Without FAME's weekly tournaments as often as possible (not yet started) - Play 10+ 1v1 games a day - Participate in daily team practices - Participate in team discussions, theory crafting, and forums - Post a member profile on Without FAME's forum to help team mates get to know you on a personal level - Save your better replays to add to Without FAME's replay section and replay packs - Have high ambitions and goals, such as reaching Grandmaster, being a top foreign player, etc - (Optional) Add "wFe" to the beginning of your name Additional details: + Show Spoiler + - The team will be 7-10 people - Once our roster begins to fill out, we will be playing as many clan wars as possible against other NA teams - Without FAME will eventually re-expand into media and social media; if you are able to stream or have experience editing videos, that would be a bonus, but playing and improving comes first - Current roster information can be found here - Clans that wish to challenge us can do so here (you don't need to register to post there) Easiest way to join Without FAME: + Show Spoiler + EDIT: We're still recruiting all races, but we have 0 Protoss players, so being a Protoss player would be a nice bonus.. Im mostly into 1v1, but find 2v2 and 3v3 entertaining as well from time to time. Important note is that 90% of my sc2 time is after 0:00 CET, so if you never play then , its fairly useless for me to join. I have skype / vent / mumble as use for communication programs, the ingame stuff works only 50% of the time for me  Contact me at belmorn #521 | ||

I'm looking to rebuild Team Skynet. We were a pretty successful team in early/mid 2011, placing high in alot of the earlier SC2 team leagues. We built up some GM that ended up moving onto sponsored teams like Convergence Gaming and Team Legion. The team was a lot of fun, we played in ESEA/SCL/SCLNA/SGL/PTGL and so on. The team sort of fell apart when some core guys moved to sponsored teams, and a couple of us were in our final years of college so we all had less time to play. Now that I'm back (damn you dota2!) to rebuild the team from the ground up and I would like to recruit some core players (3-5 players) to start practicing, playing in daily tourneys like playhem/z33k stuff, and just getting to know each other. What can we offer you now? - Dedicated and experienced manager who knows how to run a team - Daily feedback for replays/practices - Vent server - Willing to work around your schedule - Fun, but hardworking environment What I can offer you in the future? Back when I first ran Skynet I did everything I could to provide for the team, finding tournaments for the players, buying a team Korean account for practice, getting a vent server for clan wars, and paying everyone's entry into ESEA, just so we could become that much better. We were close to being sponsored, but the as I stated earlier some core players found teams with better sponsors and could not pass up the opportunity to move on to a better deal. So I'm going to do the same thing as I did last time, and as long as your willing to put the effort in I'm willing to shell out the money to make this team a big success. Obviously I can't pay for someone to go to MLG, but say down the road I run into more cash that is a huge possibility. So lets just say the sky is the limit?
