Damn anti piracy crap or w/e they better just use a one time authentication thing (after release unless they specifically want people to spend more effort on cracking the editor). If it's off every time they pull bnet (which is prime time for the editor since you can't play anyways) :'(

So, any suggestion on what the hell to do to get my mind of sc2? I've tried Quakelive, watching some tv-shows, WoW, Aion, CS 1,6.. nothing seems to work, Im still checking like every 5 minute :C

I play css death match servers, too much action to think. Does the trick for half an hour at least.

Watch stuff like Day9 Daily, Gretorp's Episode, matches on Husky's youtube, etc. Not exactly taking your mind off SC2, but preparing you to kick ass when the servers finally do get up

I didn't find it too hard to get accustomed to, it was quite a while ago but there was a slight difference when i did the swap between the two. a lot of people whined about it tho.

There are lots of debates about 1.6 vs source. I'm not sure TL is the place for it though. Suffice to say that 1.6 is still the more popular and has the most active competitive scene.

recoils are different, models disproportionate. 1.6 generally considered harder (enemies look smaller i guess, haven't played css in ages and don't really play cs unless asked) but that's more caused by the competition rather than the game.

Quake is where it's at anyways!

It's not about the aiming, it's about the feeling. If i give someone a headshot, he has to fly over 9000 meters with a fountain of blood erupting from his head, only to smash against the next wall.
