Not really since the problems at the US servers are the reason they haven't started up the Europe or Asia servers yet. The faster the problems at the US server gets fixed the faster the other servers goes up

having it up is nothing special at the moment. I still haven't been able to get into a game and I've been trying for quite some time. Its almost worse to have something and not be able to use it than to not have it at all.

hey guys, i have a question, i had to format my pc, now got a fresh installed sc2 beta, u think i will be able to patch the game all the way up to the current version? after the eu servers are up again?
i really dont know.... : )

So I played quite a few 1v1s and then decided to play 2v2s for fun for a bit...but I just played 5 games and didn't get placed and it says -3 placement games remaining. Does 2v2 have more games required for placement? Sorry if this has been asked.

Fairly sure it's possible - I don't see why thta feature shouldn't be active. It might take longer time though.

must be a new bug because I got placed in 1v1, but just played 5 games of 2v2 and didn't get placed with -3 games remaining.

Check third post in http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=134508 that thread for instructions on how to get the patching to work. You can patch on EU servers already, just won't be able to log in after you're done with the patching!

Wondering if anyone is having the same experience I am:

I can log-in no problem but when I try to play a matchmaking game is is forever "expanding search".

Once that happens, even if I press "cancel", it remains searching.

If I try to play a custom by pressing "play game" it simply greys out the button but doesn't enter the lobby.
