The event will take place in a hangar of Korean Air, as it was previously used by Blizzard in past events.
And it's blizzard who announced the event and sent all the info to it's other partners and not Korean air.

This seems like BS to me. I doubt that "professional edition" LAN thing has been released yet.

He's not going to switch that easily. (if ever) Actually in artosis interview with boxer when he went to the skt house and asked about Starcraft 2, boxer said that he would play any game that gets a big competitive community, because as a pro gamer he felt that it is neccessary to play any or all games as opposed to just one game (brood war).

Blizzard made the game, they can play it whenever they want where ever they want.

Some progamers may want to jump ship as an attempt at early adopting of the next big thing in competitive gaming. It's fairly certain that Blizzard is pushing for a strong e-sport scene revolved around starcraft 2. And if you can look past your biased view of sc1 progaming, you'd realize there have already been successful, paying tournaments/showmatches with legitimate sponsors in the first phase of BETA. That's just unheard of for the most part.

If you want to stay in the scene you better adopt SC2 or you wont have a future. Simple as this.

He's not a liar, you're being ignorant and overly defensive and aggressive. Boxer clearly stated that, roughtly translated to English and (off the top of my memory so not 100% accurate but the main point is there), I am willing to switch over to any game that will be the mainstream game, and if that happens to be SC2, I am willing to play it. This is from a video on scforall.com in which Artosis interviewed him iirc
