As long as we keep blizzard informed with WHY there are so many players named ESPORTS maybe we'll get heard. http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=25170441216&sid=5010&pageNo=1 http://forums.battle.net/thread.html?topicId=25170611347&sid=5000 If someone could relink to this thread in the NA thread, seeing as i'm from the EU i can't actually post on the NA boards i think.

In my division Mar Sara Romeo (Plat) there are no ESPORTS unfortunately. Btw, of course it's cool to have the same name but don't forget about the broader purpose of this move...if your opponents start questioning you about why they play so many guys called ESPORTS, you should EXPLAIN TO THEM why and if possible direct them to TL.net or otherwise encourage them to participate next reset. It's up to us to spread the word...

Overall it's an over-reaction. I remember reading a blue post saying very specifically they removed identifiers only temporarily.

It's about the bad quality of bnet2.0 in general.

Well, yeah, but the OP focuses pretty heavily on that one particular aspect and its implications in the beta... where we test things... which is why identifiers were taken. My post was just a response to that.

Once again, it isn't only about unique nicknames, it is about the entire lack of positive response blizzard is giving to its competitive community. Now the most pressing issue is bnet 2.0, because it is obviously pretty crappy compared to its predecessor. But there are some other issues as well with how they are managing the game in my opinion, the latter part isn't covered by this initiative.
