Edit: After that first match he wanted a rematch and i agreed, this time i stomped him even harder tho. And just to clarify i wasn't even cheesing or anything, 1st game was long macro game where both had 5 bases and both went roach heavy builds. 2nd was similar roach fest but it was much shorter(both on 2 bases) | ||

My guess would be that people who have invested enough time in the game to be better are also more familiar with the etiquette. I'll admit I occasionally say something a little snarky but I've really been trying to get better with it myself. I hate just gging out of a game though, I always want to ask what he saw as my weaknesses and how he won. I wish had some real life friends to chat with about SC2, then maybe I wouldn't need to feel that urge. Its so hard for me to watch my own replays subjectively. | ||

Can't say I've faced any real BM being a Bronzy myself. maybe once in all the games have I had a player BM me and that was barely BM, he just replayed to my GL HF with I don't need luck, you will tho. Which isn't much... So I'd like the bronze league BM stricken from the record when I believe in bronze its mostly casual players playing for fun and are likely to be friendly. Where as the try hards in low diamond who think they are PRO!! are most likely to BM. | ||

Leaves: after my initial pressure with 4 marines kills around 8 SCV and I rallied in more to win it. funny thing it is it was a mirror TvT so I dunno how the patch will fix TvT? | ||

I start out, "Good Luck" He says RAPE RAPE APE and just keeps on going and going... He forgot to scout, and 2 rax FE, but didn't push, and pushed with about 50 marines.... I of course had tanks ready at that point. by the end, I'm being called a n00b, but 7 tanks, 3 ravens and a buttload of marines versus marines will do that. After the game, he messages me, completely baffled that he lost to a gold player. He was platinum himself. I felt pretty good. But seriously, starting out by saying RAPE? what? | ||

I was playing 2v2 random. I always say hi and then what our opponents races are in case my ally forgets (ie zerg random). Transcript goes something like this: me: yo me: they are z t michaelgon: dont talk to me michaelgon: you fucking suck me: .. you serious? We proceed to get rolled because their protoss puts a proxy pylon in my ally's base, despite me pinging the location of the scouting probe and telling him to do something about it, then spam pinging a bit when I saw the zealots warp in just within HIS vision. I go to save him, but gets cut off by all in ling/roach which I hold off but not enough to save my ally from the 4gating warping into his base. Needless to say I was fairly annoyed. I could only assume that I played him before in 2v2 (he wasnt diamond in 1v1 so I dont think I coulda matched up with him) and beat him. The other thing was pretty funny. Playing 2v2 random vs two zergs, so obviously I went 2rax to cover for double rush. After using two MULES, I used my third 50 energy to scan one of their mains. I just managed to catch one guy killing his ally's main hatch with zerglings. I couldnt help but allchat "WTF", and then the victim proceeded to quit. The other guy stayed in the game and got rolled a minute later since my ally and I already had rush defense armies. I've never run into anything like that before but it was hilarious. I wish I saved the replay. | ||
