I read somewhere that this was pretty disorganized and a lot of people who won still hadn't gotten a key as much as a week later. It was just one of the comments in a reddit post about the contest so take this info with a grain of salt...

Well they were having problems since Blizzard was requiring a Bnet account email. It is disorganized but I think it'll work, they wrote 2 articles about it.

its not disorganized, its just not a starcraft 2 fansite so they don't actually get keys. Whenever blizz sends out a new wave, they send out keys associated with your cvg email.
I won one on day 3(wednesday 13th), still no key. But I won on my first try, so everyone looking for a beta key this is your chance (besides storm drop keys)

I apparently won and got a key. I already had a key though, was entering trying to win one for my sister and brother-in-law. They are going to be so stoked. I'm really happy I was able to get a key for them :D

The key will be given to the b.net account with the same e-mail as you used to register on their site. If there isn't a b.net account with that e-mail you'll have to create one.

I can attest that this is the best contest around -- much better than Facebook. I just won a key today!  I haven't received the email with the key yet, but Terrakin said he got his, so I'll trust mine is on the way.
A tip to improve your odds: you can use multiple email addresses to make multiple bnet accounts. Activate the 10-day WoW trial and opt into the beta. You can then use these multiple email accounts to enter the CVG contest multiple times each day. I only made two accounts, and got lucky with the 2nd ("extra") account -- meanwhile my trusty "real" bnet account with all my blizz games still won't have a key, but whatever.
Normally I wouldn't share this tip, but I feel like TL posters deserve keys more than most, and won't be scalping them.

Actually I was wrong, it was day #6. Day #5 still eludes me, as do the possible day #7 which I think should be going up today.
Commentors on their site seem to think that there won't be any new winners during the week-end

Does 12pm come after after 11:59am? If so there probably won't be any contest today as all other contests have gone up around noon European time, which is long gone.

The competition rotates across the 3 sites CVG, PCzone, PCGamer, in that order. As the OP said, it should be on CVG today but I can't find it.

I have to thank the one who mentioned about this CVG giveaway in facebook thread.
I have found all latest competition articles by using "the best of CVG" window on the rights side on each site (cvg, zone, gamer). When choosing "latest content" and "articles" it usually is there if they have already posted it for the day. Competition article is posted in somewhere around 13 AM (GMT) or generally in afternoon for GMT timezone.
There wasn't competition on friday as far as I know, but as it has been already mentioned, next one is on monday. One of the earlier competition posts also mentioned that they will be continuing to give 100 a day until 23rd. That would imply that there's still 500 left.
Just trying to help others by summarizing, since I've been bit frustrated to find any info about these giveaways

TL received a batch of keys recently, there's been a lot of noise about the entertaining method they used to give out a few of them.

yea it's been like that during all of the contests. but honestly most of the lotteries and stuff on tv are like that too... at least in germany. if they give away a car or smth like that during a soccer-broadcast the questions - or the given answers to be more specific - are ridiculous almost every time.

They are not giving out beta keys, the winners are sent to Blizzard who will then give out the keys. The process takes some time, since Blizzard has a lot of stuff to do, and therefore people will have to wait - which makes them whine.

Since I've seen so many posts about people not getting keys and such. I figured I would give some insight. For those of you in the past who have ever e-mailed blizzard you will already know this, so you can skip this post if you want.
When you have a problem with blizzard and you e-mail them it takes up to a full 7 days. No less, unless your lucky. So just take it as if you had e-mailed them with a problem and are waiting for they're return e-mails, I am sure that priority atm is strictly calls first, e-mails for support second, then whatever else third. Lastly these new competitions for free beta keys, so just be patient.
On a side note: Anyone from previous competitions through CVG know how long it takes until they posted the list of winners last times?

You only get one competition registration per IP address.
If someone already registered from your IP address, it will display "Your entry has been recorded, thank you!"

Their support is as bad as navigation on the site. It takes them more than 24 hours to randomly choose 100 people from the list? And on Friday they just forgot to have the event? Getting keys is not supposed to be easy heh? Blizzard made a good job in finding the worst site around with the worst support ever.

Not to mention the epic auto-playing flash adds on the sidebars! And after submitting the form, it clears the article id from the url, so if you log out, right after submitting for a contest, their page crashes with an error message. (which by the way boots you back to their hard to navigate home page)

I managed to find some info about US/EU key question in that elaborate maze of a website.
Apparently it doesn't even matter what key you get, it automatically detects your region once you apply it in your bnet account. It was one of the comments tho so its not 100% certain.

I don't understand why they would post two contests at the same time. If I'm not mistaken, yesterday they were asking people who already won a key not to enter the contest again.

My friend was trying to win a key at that site. He entered the day 7 contest and as of this writing they still haven't revealed the winners. And because you can only enter one competition at a time, he missed out on day 8, and probably day 9 if the winners aren't announced soon.
I told him about getting a beta key at gamestop (you just have to pre-order the game and they will send you an invite). Much easier to get the key that way.

Got a response from CVG. I sent an email to their bugs department about the day 7 results, because it was the closest thing I could think of. Their response:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error.

Unfortunatelt that's not how it works. Once they see one of their acc's names on the list they can easly make a B.Net account on that e-mail. :/

It seems some people from day 5 still haven't gotten theirs. To be honest I reckon they're waiting for the whole contest to be over before sending all the keys, but who knows. At least you're "guaranteed" to get one eventually ^^.

So the first times I entered once and didn't win, while people with many accounts spoke of winning several keys. so I entered with 2 more accounts and now they say if you entered with more than one you will be disqualified.
Makes sense.. yet they already gave the people who did the same last week keys. If it weren't for sc2 beta I'd never touch these horrible websites. Although I do appreciate them giving away the keys =)

Yes, I would happily pre-order if it got me a beta key. In fact, one of the reasons I haven't pre-ordered so far is that I'm waiting to see which outlets will and will not offer beta keys as part of their package. Hopefully, it's just a matter of Europe being just a few days behind the US.

well, the beta keys aren't region specific, the only thing that matters is the region of your b.net account. i doubt, that they will change that for the retail game.

I got nothing but i'm a day 10 winner.. according to some comments on the CVG website, it seems some day 6 winners are getting something, and the admin on the site said they are weeding out people with multiple accounts.
And in one of the competition descriptions it says they hand the information over to blizzard, but the big question is if its CVG/PC Zone being lazy or the blizzard people..

I think what amy be happeneing is that CVG are waiting until Monday to announce the day 11 winners, then they will give Blizzard all the names, then we will have to wait another 3-4 days to recieve them. I'd say we will have to keep waiting until at least Wednesday.

I see you people don't give a damn about your key and prefer randomly whining about not getting it instead of actually doing something, otherwise I don't see a reason why nobody posted at that thread in blizzard forum yet.
You see, Blizz have said in one of the threads over there a week ago that they had problem flagging accounts for some competition making people wait for weeks for a key. For all you know, they may still have this problem with CVG and all you do is just sit on your asses waiting for it magically appear in your inbox. Think about it, do you deserve a key after that?

CVG is one of the biggest video-mags of the uk. Therefore its hard to believe thats a scam.
Moreover you get the same reply for many other beta key giveaway contest like the german Gamestar contest(500Key Giveaway).
But you get so many opportunities to receive one.(Facebook, pre-order, etc..)

There are many contests and Fansites which are not part of their "Fansite promotion". But that doesn't mean anything. Gamestar and some other Videogamesmags aren't listed as a "Fansite promotion". And most of the winner's from day 1-4 already received their keys.

Well, the answer wasn't so clear to me, as I did not know what it means to "not be part of the fansite promotion"
And I know there's a lot of ways to get some, but Facebook, I didn't even know you have to proxy yourself, and pre-order, well I will do it if they offer it in amazon.co.uk, as I'm not willing to pay a lot more for a german dubbed game. If anyone invites me though, I wouldn't be unhappy

A lot of game stores are handing out beta keys now with pre-orders. Entered the competition several times but since retailers are spamming ppl with keys here in Sweden (I got mine from a place called webhallen.se) I guess this competition has played out it's part (at least for me). If you are waiting for CVG/Blizzard to send you keys I would suggest that you instead go ask/check your local/national retail chains, it might be faster for you.

The negative feedback should be about Blizzard, not about the competition.
Every website that gave away betas in this fashion is in this same position, being blamed when it's Blizzard who's not willing to activate the betas.

@tzz - An email from CVG as to the delay would of been nice, they had the email address of the 1000 or so who won but did not get keys. An email would of put evey ones mind at rest but they choose to ignore us up to a few days ago, and only now admit there is a problem and are speaking to blizzard.
The competition was a mess being spread across 3 websites, damn hard to find the competitions each day and even harder to find the results which were often posted 2 or 3 days after the competition. It was a mess from start to finish.
Lets hope CVG learn from this and do better should they decide to give out D3 beta keys that they dont have.

supertino: it's not about giving keys they don't have. Blizzard contacts the website saying they have x betas (not keys) to give away and asks for a list of x Battle.net accounts. The website gives the betas away, collects the accounts and sends them to Blizzard, at which point there's NOTHING the website can do to know the status or speed up the process. It's entirely up to Blizzard to activate those accounts whenever they want.
I know because I'm in the same situation as the CVG guys and it's quite annoying receiving complains because it's taking Blizzard too long to activate those betas.

@tzz - not to argue the point but with each competition people were posting they had not got their key and had been waiting a week or more, dont you think it would of been nice if CVG told the winners they are looking in to it?
We don't care about the deal between CVG and blizzard, when we entered the competitions we were told "a few days" and we'll get a key.
Days 1-4 winners got a key within 48 hours so when day 5+ got nothing after a week or more I think its right we go to the source and ask what is going on and that is CVG.
All CVG had to do was COMMUNICATE with the winners - even now unless the winners go look at day #9 winners and read post #21 they dont even know to email CVG it chase the beta key. Crazy.

its not that there skipping days its that they only post results for the competitions they hosted.
for example day 7 was by pc zone, so results were posted there
day 11 was pcgamer i think, results posted there.
day 12 was normal cvg and so on so forth. So just check each or their respective areas. =]

The contest was a while ago, on CVG. I won on the 10th day the contest ran. CVG isn't doing anymore contests as far as I know, they are now just sending keys to the people that won a while ago.

This isn't true; I was a winner on day 7 but eventually got a key from Gamestop so I didn't bother sending an e-mail to them, and now today I received a key by e-mail.

If its from game.co.uk then the key won't come until tommorow I'm afraid. They said on their website they are being sent out May 6th. Hopefully Blizz will get you the key later today though!

but for pre-orders before the the beta key promotion was announced we get them on the 5th (today) yay!
