Oh yeah. We are seeing that the heat is definetly ON for Starcraft 2 :D

Good luck with your venture!
forgottendreams: One underage girl, two drunk guys, one gogo dancer and starcraft 2. Apparently just another day in Europe.

Oh holy cow. That's some grand news. Grand enough to force me out of forum lurking and actually post. Happy to see TotalBiscuit was choosen to contribute to this. So now we've got four of the best casters within the scene joining forces, just in time for the release. I'll just repeat what the fellows above me said. This sure keeps getting better and better. Anyway, eagerly looking forward to this. SHOUTcraft is indeed a drug, and I've suffered from withdrawal far too long now.

Oh, right! I do hope TotalBiscuit will be the one to pick the music during the casts. In addition to talent and passion, he's got taste. That's kinda rare nowadays. Metal is just so right for E-Sports.

Congrats TB, its been a longtime comming and it could not have happened to a better person (group of people as a matter of fact). Though I did notice they called you TotalHalibut, figure that is a result of your YT channel.

Great for you - terrible for the rest of us. I know that I will personally only buried deeper in obscurity now!

Best of luck. I look forward to hearing the dollar figure on the first TGS tournament prize pool.

Oh god guys, there's been a huge misunderstanding. Somebody got the idea that I was a decent Starcraft 2 caster and signed me up to a new gaming network called The Game Station, along with HD, Husky and Artosis. I don't know anything about Starcraft 2, what am I going to do? PLZ HELP.
.....

When i saw your sc2 vids first time i thought:
1) Dam this guy dont know much over starcraft
2) DAM this is fun to watch!

i NEVER played wow and dont want to play it EVER!
But one time i was searching for some nice casts, and there were only boring games in my youtube subsc. bar. So i watched 2 wow casts from you.

In the middle of it i ask myself:
"holy *** What do i do here? i dont understand anything and i really dont care for new wow addons."
But i watched it to the end only because it was fun to watch.
Perhaps some guys will have the same experience with your sc2 casts and join the community.
Like i said in a other thread: all casters have a place and when someone is watching a sc2 cast of you he thinks he see the grand olimpics finals of sc2. Every game!

PS:
your good but nobody is so good that i start playing wow ^^

Whao, finally out of all the new commentators something great! I love you'r voice, probably because you sound older and it makes it seems more as if I am actually watching a pro sports event. I can't figure out why but that makes a HUGE difference when I watch Starcraft videos. This is also why I love watching Korean pro matches even though I can't understand anything thats said. The mature commentators and the energy is present which you don't find in any other amateur commentaries.

Good work, you definitely gained a viewer. Hopefully you stay active and feed my need for quality videos. GG.

Awesome stuff, congratulations. Really glad to hear that you are getting back on the sc2 stuff. Along with Day 9 you are one of my favourite commentators (isn't it funny how I like the guy who knows everything about Starcraft and the Guy who knows nothing! :D) Now stop with this WoW nonsense, you know that game isn't what it used to be, just concentrate on Starcraft!

A lot of the 'young voice' sound comes from substandard microphone and recording software. Sadly, most commentators can't afford quality hardware!

Enjoyed the casts. You have a very natural knack for fasting, and a keep a generally good pace. Try to say "there we go" a bit less. Other than that, I really enjoy you casting style. Would love to see you cast some higher calibre games! In fact, a dual cast with Day[9] would be highly entertaining.

Makh is correct on that one. Using sub-standard USB headsets that have very little dynamic range does not help at all.

That said it is not particularly expensive to get good audio quality. The Samson CO-1U is a perfect sub $100 option that is plug and play and requires no additional hardware. If you have any kind of a following at all, doing a small Paypal donation drive for equipment almost always ends in success and I would recommend that to any caster who wants to get started. Would you drink champagne out of a rusty bucket? Of course not, so why ruin your voice with an awful headset?
