I wonder if we can get Lowerping sponsorships for being high in ladder or something though.

I'm in Australia and I found initially the game felt laggy until I dropped to low detail. Yes, I know it sounds like my PC couldn't keep up but it didn't feel like slow frames, it felt laggy, none the less the game felt much better in low detail. (i7 3.3ghz, ATI 4890)

I consider it almost essential for an AU player to use one of these services. Lowerping seems to do a better job than battleping and other free proxy services from my experience. The difference is noticeable between the two, but it is not so large a difference that I feel every Australian should take a paid proxy over a free one. I will because I can afford it. But if you are Ozzy and can't, get battleping or something similar and you will still be blown away by the difference. Also.. On April 20 2010 16:22 tertle wrote: You know it's free to try right? You'll just get kicked off after ~40-60 min. Try it for yourself. Don't notice a difference? Don't buy it... ^^ This

Honestly I'm from Australia and I used a similar service for WoW, it was amazing and the difference was very noticeable, but with SC2 I can't feel much difference and delay is still pretty terrible - hard to do any intensive micro.
