In a real game the speedlings would have +melee damage upgrades so they would be able to do damage in this video they're 0/0 so they can't get through the armor on the ultralisk without upgrades.

Still looks fucking epic though do it again with marines?

yeah but 798?! i don't think this is a case of ultras being too overpowered (cuz no one ever uses them), but rather that crack lings r pretty useless now

Well it was a fully upgraded ultralisk against a swarm of totally unupgraded zerglings.

So the ultra has 6 armor, and the lings are doing 5 damage. Not surprising to see it survive so easily.

do YOU have the beta? i've been following extensively and people have complained a lot that mass cracklings aren't worth the investment anymore because it only increases their attack speed by 20%. if you somehow believe that a tier 3 unit should be able to kill over 700 tier 1 units, your an idiot.

In BW even if the attacking unit does less damage than the attacked unit has armor it will still do a minimum of 1 damage. This doesn't seem to be the case here or that ultra would have died.
