Hey all,

I'm looking for the daily where he tells the story of him trolling some players by moving the screen by their arrow keys while they were practicing. It was a story from a tournament, could have been Dreamhack (maybe MLG) because he mentioned trolling oGsMC. Any ideas what daily it was?

Titled (appropriately) "The Story of MLG". It is just before Daily #311 (Funday Monday with no keyboard).

I'm getting really tired of this AHGL thing. I loved the idea, but it seems to be severely interfering with the real dailies. Even when Sean was in grad school he was doing them regularly. And now that his life is starcraft, we're getting funday monday and this league with players and games that I care very little about.

Not to mention that even IF I wanted to watch them (which I'll be honest, I probably would at some point.) with the new format used with 11-20 minute "segments" he posts them BACKWARDS, requiring me to get up and change the episode manually every ten minutes, which is just stupid.

Oh well. Not like I can -really- be upset or anything. He's given me free entertainment for over a year now. He doesn't owe me anything :D I just wish it went back to the way it used to be.

I kind of get what you mean, though his current break from the dailies has more to do with fatigue than the AHGL event. I'm sure he'll be back to doing dailies in no time, once he feels better.

Oh, and on the event itself, it's a wonderful idea to try and involve these super large coporations with Starcraft 2, but it seems Day9 has forgotten that you need the promise of high-quality play/high profile names to really interest viewers. It's even more important, since there are so many tournaments and SC2 events taking place these days, people need that something extra and shiny which will draw them in.

It's awesome that he's spending his own money and time to work on something like this, but maybe it's a little too removed from the pro-scene to be really worth it. Still, it's for a good cause, and these companies noticing SC2 can only mean good things for the future, so I'm sure everyone will be better off for an event like this taking place.

P.S. Maybe for future editions of AHGL (if it does happen), you can get some progamers to join these teams as coaches/advisors to make it really interesting. They could get a share of the prize pool for charities of their choice, and their involvment would only boost interest in the event as well as their PR. Just imagine a IdrA coached/sponsored Google, going up against HuK's Microsoft or something (though being on the same team kind of ruins the dynamic now

). That would be so cool.

I've got a total noob question. What all do I need to do in order to submit a replay for the dailies this week? I've been playing a good number of games and I've got some that I think are pretty decent. Do I just zip up the files and then e-mail them to tuesday@daytv with a brief description?

I think that in the last few weeks, Blip has changed something so that even though the segments are posted in reverse order, at least some of the time they seem to autoplay in the correct order. Not entirely sure how it works, though.

For me, they actually do play in order. I'm not sure why blip is set up to play stuff backwards when you let it auto play, but it seems to do just that. The one gripe I have about it is that I like to watch it full screen, and blip will take it off of full screen each time it switches parts. There is one solution to this which is to make your browser full screen (should be somewhere in your browser options) and then just zoom in until it is the size of the screen.

Unless there's been a request for specific replays by Day[9], it's probably better not to submit things at random, to save the crew some work. Monday and tuesday dailies have a specific theme each week, so make sure your replay matches that. Dailies on other days are almost always on pro matches.

You know, it would be fun to have a Funday Monday where you made your own rules and the guy with the wackiest/best idea wins and that's the Funday Monday idea for the following week.

Also, will there only be 2 Dailies this week due to MLG? I checked the website but it doesn't say. I'm assuming the 2 posted are the only ones this week.
