Why can't Day9 himself organise a restream/dualstream with another provider like Justin.TV and KEEP the money?

Why don't day9 just switch purely into justin.tv and make money out of ourselves like IdrA does.
It's not like we don't want to support him, and a 30s commercial before the show isn't exactly killing anyone.

I've heard a lot of requests for a re-stream for a lot of people who are having lag issues. Thus, I am re-streaming. Please let me know in my stream's chat if there are any issues with sound or video.

I've never had problems with watching day9's stream live. If you have a hard time watching then its probably on your end..
There's always the VoD which he uploads a couple of hours later.

Today there was a bit of a audio-video out of sync, but it got fixed by a quick refresh and it was flawless after that.
40/20 connection here.

Frankly I have no problems with Day9 Daily or other ustream streams but have great problems with justin.tv. So I guess it is kind of highly individual and there is not some best solution.

It's rather ridiculous to expect Sean to switch streams entirely just because a minority of his viewers are having lag problems for 2 weeks. He's been doing the daily for years now, I don't expect much to change for just 2 weeks of problems.
This is why I've been asking for a restream, as a temporary solution until Ustream fixes their problems, whatever they may be.
Much respect to VorcePA, and frowny face to Sean's mods - I got kicked for pasting the restream link in chat with no warning =/

To the person who did the poll, its an extremely unbiased and non-scientific way to conduct a poll as those who have had issues are far more likely to respond to the poll than those without. No reasonable conclusion can be drawn from the poll.

Not really. The mods used the polling system in chat to find out how many people were lagging, which was about 25%. Not too far from the results of this poll.

Last time there was a serious lag issue with Day[9]'s stream, it was Ustream limiting his bandwidth to a fraction of what it was supposed to be. Because this problem is consistent, I would imagine it's some bandwidth limiter kickig in for Day[9] because of the constant high traffic he is putting out.
I'm saying this because there seems to be many people who think it's Day[9]'s responsibility to fix this. I say go pester Ustream on why they lag. If it's only Day[9]'s stream lagging then it's very obvious some service provider (Ustream or someone else) is limiting traffic even though higher bandwidth was paid for.
Because you know..that's what the service providers do. You should know this by now.

Regarding the stream issues, I did notice that the last two Funday Monday's were exceptionally laggy for me (audio was working fine but video would freeze for 30 seconds, be fine for 5 seconds and then frozen again). However I watched the daily yesterday and it worked a treat. Only a couple of minor issues every now and then - but hey, I always get that no matter what stream or cast I'm watching.
I definitely think that the increased amount of viewers for Funday Monday (I noticed it around 12k o.O) is causing a lot of issues for some people. It makes sense, but as the viewership increases something is going to have to be done.
For the record I live in Australia.

He's apparently said multiple times he's not going to ladder on his stream (I think I heard from one of his mods). Maybe we just need to peer pressure him more.

I just gotta give thanks to Day9 for that newbie tuesday about mechanics. Im currently in silver league and ever since that daily I've been improving my game and now I'm being matched with guys from gold league although im just a few weeks old newbie with just around 50 matches ender my belt and doesnt play a lot due to university.
