And his funny misfires most of the time. The exaggerated voices, the over-animated facial expressions, the funny voices, the bursting out laughing... damn that's shit's just embarrassing (like what he's doing RIGHT NOW). (I feel justified making this post, because Husky & HD are complained about so much on this forum, while Day9 is treated like a saint who can do no wrong.) I can't agree that it's "embarassing". It's actually remarkably hard to fill the space of an entire hour-long show day after day with absolutely no audience to gauge a reaction off of. He's not casting games, he's teaching and he's entertaining. This is his show. While he's also funny and animated during his casts, he treats them entirely different. HD and Husky are criticized (fairly or unfairly) for their casting abilities during events. You're more than free to criticize Day as well, (I've sent him PM's before with criticisms and he's received them warmly and with appreciation) but at least be fair and don't compare Day[9]'s personal show against other casters casting games. I don't like criticize either HD or Husky (Husky lives in Oregon! REPRESENT), but that said, I did find it kind of disappointing to hear HD actually say he only plays like 1 game a week, prob why I don't watch him anymore.
That was a joke that backfired.
Also, I can't watch the dailies anymore since the audio is always off-sync, which is horrible. Is there any fix to this?

(serious answer - turn off torrents, install proper drivers, flash, basic media decoders)

Hmm... Day9 should test his influence over the community by showing only games where T loses for a while. See if people begin to whine less about them being OP.
Propaganda!

You can download VLC media player and download the video files from bliptv and watch the actual files in VLC instead of in your browser, pressing the j or k hotkey while watching the video will change the sync by 50 milliseconds until the sync is correct, I find its the easiest way.

It might actually work since alot of people get influenced easily by "starcraft gods".

I think you're missing the point.
Not everyone watches the daily for ultra-rigid "this is the bottom line most hardcore strategy discussion ever"
I personally watch it for the entertainment value first and foremost, the strategy and gameplay discussion is good for the most part but really, if you're throwing all your strategy eggs into one basket so to speak, then you've already lost.

I completely agree. Bottom line is it's a video game, not how to operate heavy machinery. I want to be having fun and being entertained while i learn about the game so it doesn't feel like work.
Maybe some people like it to feel like work but i dont, i work pretty hard as is and when it's starcraft time, even when im getting in my fairly focused study, i want to be enjoying myself and kicking back. That's why day[9], husky, and probably psy are my three favs. They have a lot of fun when they cast and make the viewing fun, and i've learned a hell of a lot from watching em.

while you two may say that in response, two posters before me are saying how Day9 has the power to set new trends in how the game is played/portrayed. lmfao

Mind that the post you are referring to put starcraft gods in quotation marks as to not call day9 a starcraft god. Not to sound too fanboy-ish, but why are you posting something bad about a content provider in his own thread? You have given no reasons, just ill minded flaming. Your comments seem more like trolling than discussion <.<

Did Day9 run over your cat?
I guess you have a difficult time with dry humor on a web board. Not that such a thing is particularly unusual. Just suggesting you draw back the venom a touch ;-)

I am afraid that if these posters were left alone, they would soon commit mass suicides in attempt to become one with Day9. or some other crap of some sort. get a grip yall.

You have successfully convinced me to not spike the Koolaid. Thank you. Amazingly valuable insight from you thus far. Appreciated. You're my new hero. Please keep me apprised of all strategy and awesomeness you have so I can start viraltouchfan.com.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Also exactly what 99.99% of the population would say. What is your point again?
Oh right you don't like someone's style and for some reason feel it's necessary to troll the thread.
If Day9 is bad at the game shouldn't you want people to heed his terrible advice and thus make your average enemy weaker?
What I'm still not understanding here is what the point of your posts here are. Just because I appreciate the daily doesn't mean I have a shrine with Day9 beard clippings in my spare bedroom.

eh more like *edit for syntax*your post assumed that purpose of my post was to replace what day9 means to you. and by that reveals how you really feel about day9 being "You're my new hero. Please keep me apprised of all strategy and awesomeness you have..."really makes a logical sense, think about it.
stroking it to day9 will get to you Grachuus, take it easy
