Obviously livestream is going to become problematic. As time goes on the viewer count is going to jump into 10,000's. Someone with alot of money needs to create a HD capable streaming site for gamers.

I've seen this increasing trend of livestream failing more and more. Really a shame especially because it hits Day[9].tv this hard...

Time to try if Justin.tv works better?

actually, livestream is working with day9 to get all the issues fixed. it failed for a bit there. but the last two casts (since livestream has been monitoring day9) have been peaches n cream.

it at least seems to be getting better

The livestream people are pretty eager to fix everything but, as you guys say, if everything doesn't fix itself real fast, I'm going to switch over to another server.

<3 sounds good! i think quite a few people would like to help out with servers/monies to support a good high-quality and high-bandwith stream. Even if every person pays 1 dollar you can prolly find a server for at least a *year*.

I have seen some football matches on justin.tv and it cut me off all the time saying that there were to many viewers of my country online. Don't really know if it would happen too, but i am wary of this problem.

If you think about it, Starcraft 2 streams started at a small number of viewers, and now its jumping by the thousands, daily. It doesn't seem like Livestream, Justin.tv, or U.Stream is going to be the long term solution.

It was very easy with Counter Strike because of HLTV, hopefully SC2 can adopt something like that. StarcraftTV would be amazing, although highly unlikely.
