Thank god. So glad they are on to this. So far the Infestor has been a joke compared to the other races midgame casters (Templar, Ghosts). Too funny they are still saying the Zerg are that underpowered.


They said Tier 2 if you read it correctly. According to the people at blizzcon who used that 1 hatch hydra build their tier 1 was strong but tier 2 was still very weak.

I am one of these people and I disagree. "Vastly underpowered" is at least exaggerating it.

I am really excited for a new Infestor though. If they can give the Infestor abilities that - possibly together with modified roaches - give Zerg a strong midgame option that would still require skill I would be so happy.

I would be happier with mind control if there were more graphics to it. Like tentacles shooting up from the ground (or from the unit's mouth if not burrowed) and wrapping around the unit. Then it could open possibilities like the mind control is permanent until the infestor moves out of range or is killed. That would be an interesting choice. Kill the colossus, or try and get a pot shot in on the infestor behind it to save the unit.
