i watched your replay pack.
It's sad that there are only couple of TvP and u could have killed those toss with any mix in fact because you outmacroed them hardly and not because your army mix was better.

Toss who eat damage from 10 mines+ HSM from raven without any splitt just melted your whole army with a-move...
If this toss was more skilled overall and have the same lvl of macro as u have, then mech will lose 90% of the games.

So imho mech is realy dead in TvP

do you remember which ones if any may have mech versus vipers. just want to see a high level terran dealing with it (dont have time to go through all replays). thanks

Is there any chance you could upload the 2nd set of replays some place where I don't have to register to download them? I'm wondering how I should structure my army composition as Protoss against Terran mech in mid and late game, but it's hard to find good replays. I disagree with dargul though about mech viability. At the time of the engagement, both armies were maxed but Protoss had 3-3 and Terran only had 2-2 and Protoss had 35 fewer workers which meant a much bigger army. Despite that, the two armies traded roughly evenly in units lost. If the situation had been reversed, the Protoss army would have been dismantled by the Terran mech army while hardly making a dent. Yeah, part of that was poor army spread, but even still, that engagement doesn't prove that mech doesn't work.
