like they met on instagram, like he invited her to his house, apparently also paid for an uber for her. and lets hope he's smart enough to have some sort of camera system in his house. but inviting a random that allegedly u met on insta to your house while your wife/kids are on vacation, doesnt sound very good whether he committed the crime or not.

Who knows if it actually happened or not. Also, the FIFA best awards have had their usual sideline controversy. David Alaba got racial abuse from his own fans for voting for Messi instead of Benzema. Zlatko Dalic boycotted the whole thing and released a statement through the Croatian FA basically telling FIFA to go fuck themselves

All the expectations are against such an outcome. But imagine it goes through.

if messi leaves europe, that would be disappointing though. i imagine there are a lot of teams that would still be interested in trying to fit even an old messi into their first eleven

Winning the WC was the big thing still missing in his curriculum and he's done it. I'm sure that if he's motivated to stay at the top, he could for a few more years, but "retiring" to Miami isn't a bad plan if he isn't motivated anymore. I'd prefer he went to Newell's Old Boys tho! Way more storybook ending!

Remember that Messi was frequently mentioned in the Panama Papers and was implicated with enormous quantities of unpaid taxes, shell companies and the like. Remember that he is a convicted criminal in Spain for tax evasion. He will go where the most money is. You'd think he has enough by now, but he signed the 120m+ contract with the Saudis to appear in a couple of ads for Riyadh. His primary motivator at this point is obviously money, especially now that the World Cup is achieved. What more is to be achieved in Europe? He's won everything now.

Then again, if the Saudi-Arabian clubs manage to hire the aforementioned footballing buddies, he's probably happy to go there too.
