We played extremely well, had the best chances of the game and lost 1-0? Stats showed we should have 2 goals and didn't because we can't finish. PSG yesterday didnt even turn up until last 20 minutes, at least we played well for the whole 90. I am also bitter at how Dortmund managed to stay with 11 men, Bellingham and Can should/could have been sent off easily for all their fouls.
Extremely well??? I would understand if Chelsea won 3:0 or so but this result? Clearly the millions of pounds paid off.

City has won the league

City has won the league All it takes is a long term injury for a player like De Bruyne and they look more fragile than previous seasons. Having said that, they are definitely favourites now.

I wouldnt be so sure, both City and Arsenal might lose a couple of games and the pressure is more on the City side.

I don't think you can say that Chelsea are "shit" after this result. They were unlucky in front of goal and on another day would have scored 5. They did have the wrong person covering at the corner. Enzo Fernandes clearly isn't fast enough for the specific job of being last man in a breakaway, but he's clearly good at other things and Potter will switch up who stands there.
On Arsenal, I wonder how much of Tomiyasu's error was down to the Arteta philosophy of play out from the back at all costs and how much was an absolute brain fade on his part. There were a few goals given away in the last couple of seasons from poor back-passes, as Arteta was building his philosophy.
A motivated City (and in-form de Bruyne) is going to be very scary for the rest of the season.

City has proven time and again that they get stronger with pressure. Beating liverpool twice by one point with near perfect runs Arsenal couldnt even stand the January pressure

Stop destroying my hope with facts! :D

City probably has way bigger focus on UCL though and Icould see them struggling a bit with the schedule if they pick up an injury or two. I don't think they're even remotely as consistent as City a few years back.

Calling it for Arsenal when they had an 8 point lead with half the season to go was premature. Calling it for City when they're 1 game behind with almost half the season to go is premature.

I am willing to sigbet anybody who doesnt believe that City will win the title.

I just checked the PL table and one pretty curious thing is that Newcastle has only lost to Liverpool in PL and that happened in August. After that it's all draws and wins. 11 draws throughout the season though.

Huge difference between 'they won' and 'they're favorites'. I have City as favorites (thought it was basically even a couple weeks ago), but the notion that 'it's over' when they're not even in the lead (gonna regard their +1 match as 'most likely not a loss') is just silly.

Bookmakers seem to have it at about 60-65% City, 30-35%ish Arsenal, sub 5% for United. Seems reasonable to me but if I were certain I'd go increase my net worth by 50%

Chelsea spends over $600 million just to tie with West Ham... but it's Pulisic that is the problem lol he needs to go to Atletico.

Still, Barcelona conceded twice as many goals in that game as they've conceded on home field in la liga this season!

Happy birthday!
Yes i agree on the Enzo corner issue, me and my dad were saying the same thing. Why is Reece James our fastest player, tucking in and marking Adyemi all game long, to on corners we stack the box with the likes of James and keep just one my back which is Enzo. James should never be in the box on corners, he might be strong but he is our quickest opponent in a team that is counter attack or bust, very poor from Potter on that sense.
Still we played well, but there becomes a point were playing well and not winning is not good, as mourinho said. The day you start accepting defeat because you play well, is the day you stop being a big club.
