Also is there actually a public statement where he said that he doesn't want to play for PSG? From what I have seen he indeed wants to play for PSG, but just for one more year, before he leaves on a free

So do players. Honour your contract and do your job properly, dont go negotiating your future more than one year in advance and create issues inside and publicly for the club.

If he has come to the conclusion to not extend, what else should he have done to "do his job properly". I really dislike Mbappe generally, but I think his behaviour in this situation is pretty much the most professional high caliber transfer in a while.

Why wouldn't he be allowed to negotiate a deal for the time after his contract ends? I fail to see any wrongdoing on the players part in this case.

psg is crying about tampering without officially making a claim. at least thats the way i understand it. otherwise i still think mbappe has been remarkably professional throughout the whole thing. whatever he said about letting psg make money off a sale wasnt binding, and he otherwise wishes to fulfil the terms of his contract before he moves on to other things. hasnt said anything negative or something that would compromise psg's position further either

Jamaica's centre back pairing of the Swaby sisters were dominant aerially and difficult to crack overall, no surprises they managed to hold France goalless in their first game. Drew Spence in central midfield completely ran the show and Deneisha Blackwood at left back was frequently dangerous going forward. Their star forward and captain Shaw was suspended and they lacked a cutting edge up front without her. I expect them to give Brazil a very tough match to see who goes through. Panama were very clearly underdogs but they fought hard and defended well. They played out from the back very well initially but unfortunately they tended to lose the ball in midfield a lot. Emily Cedeno on the wing looked dangerous on the counter. Otherwise, 16k fans was about 90% capacity for the ground, decent turnout considering the shit weather and the less glamorous teams. Was a good vibe, almost entirely neutrals who got into it. FIFA merchandise is shit. The coffee trucks were the best idea I have seen at a sports ground.
