It’s probably not wise just from an age perspective, he’d probably have a grand old time.
Provided other factors like settling in to a team’s method of playing, and settling into the country lifestyle wise fall into place, I’m not sure the EPL’s football has characteristics that would stop players flourishing, at least top players.
Don’t really see many moves making sense for Lewandowski right now. Clubs that could conceivably get him and he’d fancy going to, aren’t in for him, and a club like a Real who it’s long been rumoured he’d like to play for aren’t in any kind of position to get him this summer.

Christ, Auba and Laca both have Covid

i feel this season is going to be decided by which club has the least amount of players that catch covid. nevermind hamstring injuries or whatever, just dont get covid and you win the league

Messi and Ronaldo are doing good numbers still at their ages but not in the biggest of leagues?
Lewa was offered to Chelsea by his agent this summer as his agent is good friends with Marina and Roman but they knew it would be a big figure to get him from Bayern and at that time were not interested in selling anyway.
Interesting that EPL is the "biggest" league but all most of the top players play overseas.

Spurs lost their leg 1 of Conference League qual 1-0 to Ferreira from Portugal.
I'm not sure how Spurs should feel about the competition. On the other hand it's kind of a distraction from the PL and all that, but then again I don't think even EL is guaranteed for most PL teams right now and you can still land there through the Conference, so it can be kind of a safety net/last straw of hope towards the end of the season.

Oh stop with the "he is a very good player in [minor] league but can he convince in Premier Leauge" BS
Yes, '21 we had an all English final but looking at '20 we had 1 PL club in top 8 in CL. ONE. Best league my ass

Most people don't even consider Premier league the most difficult league by far. For me top La Liga clubs are as strong as Premier league clubs which is proven by how strong they are in CL.
Also anyone who is very good in Italy/Spain has as much good chance to be very good in premier league. If anything its the players who leave from their fully stacked PL teams who then struggle more in the lesser stacked teams.

There are enough examples both ways.
Ultimately it's more of things like playstyle, tactics, social aspects, language barrier, ... that helps or hinders players in their new clubs and not "PREmieR leAGUE sO STRong"

It would def be interesting to have a tournament one summer for midtable and lower teams from all the big leagues

Getting Ødegaard is good, but I'm not sold on Ramsdale at all

Pep said, Klopp said it, Tuchel said, Mourinho said it, all these managers managed in the biggest leagues in the world and still say it....
Werner scores 45 goals in Bundesliga, after first match vs Brighton he says;
Yeah, Premier League is different football because I think defenders... I have never played against three defenders like this so tall, so big massive defenders,
I never once said England was the best league i said it was so different to the others....Klopp Pep Tuchel and Mourinho have said its the hardest league and most competitive. Lewadownski is the wrong side of 30 for a club to gamble 100 million on him to come to this country to hit ground running and if you think differently to that then i don't know...
Yes last year we had finalists in both competitions and 2019 we might not have (covid year) but the year before that we had all English finals in both European competitions....

I guess he's one for the future, but at least the upcoming season your defence is already on the young and inexperienced side. They could probably use a loud and experienced leader there and Ramsdale probably isn't that, not at least for a few years.
I guess Leno can still take responsibility though. He's got 2 years left on the contract and should just be maturing into peak GK years, so maybe it'll work alright.

I don't have any deep understanding of Arsenal's roster right now, but I feel the main worry is goalscoring. Auba is rumored to be in bad form or heavy decline and I'm not sure if Laca can produce enough to carry the whole team.
Ødegaard could be a brilliant long term piece for the team though, hopefully Ramsdale and White will turn out great too.

Oh shit, Pulisic has Covid too

Szoboszlai scored 2 on his first start for Leipzig. He has heaps of potential, hopefully he carries on.

dunno wtf happened throughout the week but united were walking after 70mins. poor game overall
|
That was one of the worst 30 mins of football I've seen United play in awhile. So many misplaced passes, midfield really needs a solid signing, we won't get anywhere with Mctominay, Fred and Matic there.
Also I hope I'm wrong but this game shows why Ole won't win anything with United, just poor management leaving Matic and Fred on the pitch for so long.

Kante, Chilwell and Werner on the bench. Chelsea depth is hectic now

Imagine Solksjaer actually developing a player instead of buying

Holy crap Arsenal gets pummeled!

So now Arsenal are colliding with Chelsea players in hopes to draw penalties.

If we want to challenge immediately we need to buy. Anyway Chelsea's squad depth is insane.
