It's not a standard league like we are used to around here. They have conferences and divisions and you tend to play more often vs the teams closer to you, and less against the teams further away, while the champion is decided via playoffs to make sure you're not being benefited by the "non-linear" schedule. I assume the MLS works the same way as any other sport, so having 29 or even more teams doesn't produce any more games or complications than a 16 team league. | ||
