Yup, agreed. The other instance is an obvious miscommunication. Sometimes, even casual viewers can tell that the qb expected the receiver to break outside and threw there while the receiver ran their route inside. That's not grounding. There's just one guy on that side of the field and it's obvious he ran the opposite way of where the qb thought he would.

Same thing happened to Goff tonight (Peyton and Eli caught this also). His arm got hit and it got called grounding, but we all (lol as if me agreeing with those two means much) thought we knew the receiver he was targeting.

big fan of sam pittman and what he's built at arkansas, he's originally a trenches guy and you can tell by how they've dominated the teams on the line so far.
next week vs georgia is going to be a big one.

this might end up being the worst draft qb class since the geno smith one if performances are to continue.
slovis injured, rattler disappointing, howell disappointing, carson strong disappointing - i think malik willis, grayson mccall and desmond ritter are helping their stock by just not being bad.
edit: actually the winner out of all of this mess is matt corral from ole miss, and even then he has questions.
