But so far it's the classic English thing - good group and ... then nothing, Bomber law!

This is going the worst possible way, both Scotland and Finland out in the groups t.t Not to say it would be unexpected but goddamnit at least they could've had the decency to not keep the hopes alive this long.

It takes few passes to start an English offfensive action. It takes few passes for us to lose the ball. Boy oh boy, that's gonna be one tragic match in the future.
Edit> the lack of creativity from our team is ... huge.

Status: Its Coming Home! I can't believe it took this long to start him Yeah but the players ahead of him have such pedigree in the likes of Sterling, Sancho, Rashford and Foden but he has really put himself forward for the next game to start but its going to be vs a big team in either Portugal or Germany one would assume.

Status: Its Coming Home! Sometimes you seem to be kinda bipolar... Only during the 90 minutes, you have to support whoever steps out onto the pitch they are representing us and it isn't their fault they are put into that position because of silly coach picking the wrong ones, but before and after it is open for criticism, but during the game they are the heroes.
I mean being a German right now surely you have sympathy for a coach picking the wrong players and system....

I'm not sure I could handle this.
Obviously Germany eliminating England in Wembley in the RO16 would be a dream scenario... preferably either by 5 goals or on penalties...
But on the other hand, the risk of losing... not sure I could handle this. Between Pande here and my English team lead at work... uhhh... that's damn risky.

Risk of losing? Hmm not sure that's actually present.

Germany is so many times better than Brexitbois, I doubt you have to be worried. You should be worried about running out of ways to mock them for example!

Funny how Germany is suddenly a clear favourite to win vs England while they were getting shat on before the tournament and even after the first game. I guess a 4-2 win vs an average (dare I say bad?) Portugal is enough for a complete reversal of expectations xD
I'm not counting Hungary out tbh.

I'm not counting Hungary out tbh. England have been alot worse than expected tbh. I would expect a reasonably close game between England and Germany but without England actually threatening to win.

Englishbois have not convinced me that they wanna go far this tournament. They have to really step it up in the Ro16.
Germany has had quite an increase in perfomance. If die Mannschaft can keep this up and become better with every game like they normally do, I'm not worried at all.
We'll know more in a few hours

England have not looked great so far. Only teams that constantly had good performance are Italy and to some extent Belgium.

And (provided no upsets) we'll meet in the quarters already, yaay...
We've had some bad halves tbh, granted we never had our best 11 out at the same time, Martinez has been experimenting so much. Hazard (Eden) and Mertens are disappointing, KDB and Lukaku can carry us a long way though. But I'm really afraid of Italy, bracket luck isn't with us.

Meh, agreed on Italy, Belgium imo has been pretty questionable for a supposed top team. The wins vs Finland / Russia don't mean anything, and Denmark looked like the better side in their match even after the whole Erikssen thing. Although I suppose most of the supposed top dogs haven't looked particularly formidable so far, whether it's due to Covid messing with things or whatever else.

Don't get the doubt in Belgium, the have the best player in the tournament in De Bruyne and best striker in Lukaku both looking sharp.

So on one hand the Rainbow isn't political, on the other Germany can't light up its' stadium in said colors due to it being political.
