Not too surprising for a small country, but usually it's the other way around.

We're usually pretty decent on midfielders and have world class attackers. I find it hard to remember when we last didn't have a world class attacker. We went from v. Basten to Bergkamp to Kluivert to v. Nistelrooy to Robben and v. Persie. And for most of that time we had world class subs too.
Now we have Depay who is already inferior to all of those, and Dost, who is good but has never ever been good for the national squad. Other than that? Absolute misery like the de Jong brothers, and maybe some hopeful talents.
Meanwhile, I don't think I can remember the last world class defender we had. Stam, I guess? Other than that? I think you have to go back to Rijkaard and Koeman...

Roy Makaay springs immediately to mind as a player who would walk into the current team, but struggled to establish himself given the amount of talent up top there used to be.

Just read that Koeman had loopwhole that allow him to leave for Barca for free

That was big news in NL because he denied (at first) to the press that there were any special clauses in his national contract. Did way more damage to his credibility than just admitting he'd prefer to coach Barca over NL, which everyone would have understood.
He has a very mixed record as a coach though, hard to say what's going to happen in this case. If he turns out to be just a pawn for the board or Messi, things could go south quickly, just like with Everton.

From what i read. Xavi is the man Barca really want. But he don't want to be Coach that this president select, so he have declined. Don't really understand the president system in Spain. It seems responsible for much of the problems

With that being turned into Euro 2021, whether or not that clause is active now is weird. So I'm guessing Barça is just spending some money to make sure this doesn't get tied up in court?

Are you sure it's not just date after euro 2020should have been played. Don't see Barca throwing massive amounts after a coach. Reason Porchettino was frontrunner to begin with.

Good good, spend some cash now and some when he inevitably gets sacked. The club is sitting on so much money, might as well give it away xD
PSG Leipzig time! PSG favorite, but as a team Leipzig is stronger. Should be a fun match. 4-2 Paris, I say.

God dammit, Neymar costing me more money this week haha!

Looks like game over to me. Leipzig plays it super low with no press to not leave space to Mbappe and Neymar, so this is the worst possible scenario for them. 2nd half they'll have to go yolo, I can see a lot more goals for Paris.
I don't feel like Paris is playing amazing either, just solid and patient. But Leipzig is not able to produce anything. Easy game for now.

Is Angel Di Maria one of the most underrated players of this era?
Leipzig seem a bit fucked and lacking the intensity one associated with them, but hey in the last decade miraculous CL comebacks seem as common happening as not.

He's great but he has been inconsistent throughout his whole career. Best Di Maria was actually when he was a semi-defensive midfielder with Real.
