Top 4 race looking very exciting, with Chelsea United Wolves all being strong and Leicester having a severe downswing. By now I think it's looking more likely than not that Leicester actually drops out, even if they have a 3 point lead +1 game to go on both united and wolves.

MU played really well but Brighton clawed back well in the second half. I wonder how much of that is due to Brighton switching up a gear or whether it was having Pereira on instead of Bruno/Pogba...

Hm the Norwegian broadcast I was watching looked at that during the halftime break and concluded really close but no offside? Was a bit weird that it wasn't even investigated though, cause it was definitely very close.

More of a discussion around the ball going out of play about 30 seconds before the goal; however I believe official commentary was that it was too long before the goal to disallow it.

Yeah Yanited looking pretty good, that front 4 is looking really good right now, if they can keep that up for a full season and Pogba plays ball for them they could really be contenders imo.

I had West Ham to go down. I just couldn't see where the points were going to come from. Chelsea losing that game is a real surprise to me. Leicester look like they are struggling to find form after the restart too. This is giving us a really interesting fight for the Champions League top 4/5. Newcastle have pulled of some stunning wins since the restart. They're way home safe and dry now.

edit: I think my last comment was literally can Chelsea challenge for the League next year!

Back in Bayern he also never replaced Schweinsteiger. I think he might be undervaluing leaders in the dressing room

EPL PREDICTIONS WALL OF TEXT DUE TO INSOMNIA

I've watched every Leicester game in full since restart and they have been really bad. The two changes to their prior form that have really stood out for me is how slow their passing looks and how awful their through balls/ final passes are. Maddison and Ndidi in particular look really rusty compared to pre covid, they are regularly missing passes by several metres. The team stats show 80+ for pass accuracy and high possession but it's all short passes between the defenders or slow and predictable. Vardy, Barnes etc aren't getting the chance to use their pace because of how slow buildup is too.

They have Spurs and Arsenal away and United at home. The remainder are Palace, Bournemouth and Sheffield. Going on their current form they should lose the away 3. Bournemouth and Sheffield have been equally poor since the return, winning the home games will be crucial for them sneaking into champions league. I predict they will gain 7 points from those 3 games, finishing on 62 points. They have strong goal difference already so should win a tie.

Chelsea have Liverpool away and Wolves at home, they should win all the rest easily. I predict they will win 4 and draw one, lose to Liverpool and gain 13 points, finishing with 67.

Man United have 3 of the bottom 5, Southampton at home, Palace away and Leicester away. I predict they will win all of them except Palace who they will draw with. They will gain 16 points and finish on 68 points.

Wolves have Arsenal, Everton and Palace at home, Sheffield, Burnley and Chelsea away. I predict they will lose to Burnley and Chelsea, draw with Sheffield and win the other 3 for 10 points, finishing on 62 points.

Arsenal realistically need to win all 6 remaining games to make CL, which would give them 62 points. They have Wolves, Spurs and Villa away, Watford, Leicester and Liverpool at home. I think they will beat Villa, Watford and Leicester, lose the others, gain 9 points and finish on 55.

Spurs have Everton, Arsenal, Leicester at home. Sheffield, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Palace away. They should win all their home games, plus Bournemouth at the least. I predict 13 points from the 7 games, finishing on 58.

Everton have Bournemouth, Southampton, Villa at home. Spurs, Wolves, Sheffield away. They should win all their home games and might draw at Sheffield. 10 points, finishing on 54.

Burnley should win their 3 home games and lose 3 away, like usual. 9 points, finish on 54 with worse GD than Everton. Everyone else will finish below this.

TLDR My predicted final table. Leicester get into CL if Man City ban is upheld, miss out if not. Villa and Bournemouth have atrocious runs home and will get relegated.

4. Chelsea 67 points
5. Leicester 62 points
6. Wolves 62 points but worse GD than Leicester
