I also think Pogba dived for the penalty yesterday and I don't really understand why. He had already beaten the player, was it Eric Dier? I’m really struggling without player names on the backs. I support the BLM cause 100% just I’m shit at remembering who everyone is.

How did that happen? No idea what the hell i just watched but sheff utd form pre lockdown is out the window and somehow Newcastle a free scoring against them haha. But whatever. Exeter's second leg is tonight isn't back at ST James Park. Come on CIty!He would have been sent off if he succeeded and he should have gotten a yellow for unsporting behaviour. The red is for denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity, he didn't manage to do that. Also how are you feeling about Exeter Not too many of you guys agree with me on Pogba diving. It's a dive to me. But again whatever. The MOTD commentators (all strikers) all said it was a penalty. They kept talking about his quality taking the ball around Dier. Sure it was a lovely bit of skil but that doesn't mean it's not a dive afterwards. Anyway so happy football is back (I know it's been back in Germany for weeks).

But it just looks too soft for me and if we give penalties for that kind of thing it just encourages more diving. That's my biggest problem with it. If people get penalties in situations like that it just encourages more diving in the future. I want to see Pogba try and beat the keeper or play a deft ball across goal from that position not just think it's easier to hit the deck and get a penalty.

I think refereeing over the years is rather to blame for this. You can still be fouled without falling to the ground, but players who are fouled and are put off and lose balance but don’t go to ground don’t get given those fouls.
