Unless Cam beat out Tebow from the moment he arrived at Florida, the world was gonna know about Tebow. Cam left because Tebow was coming back for his senior year. If he stayed at Florida, Urban Meyer's Florida dynasty probably could have lasted 1 year longer. Tebow would have never got a start if Cam never stole a laptop and Newtons father wasest doing pay for play. By Cam going the Community College route it handed the stating QB job to Tebow.

I dont think its a huge assumption that if Cam was able to win the heismann and still be the #1 overall pick while playing in community college Cam couldn't have done the exact same thing at FSU. This was back in the days when Cam had back to back 400 yard games in his 2 first rookie starts in the NFL. Cam was viewed as the best QB prospect in a long time. I'm not saying Tebow wouldn't have gone to another team and found success, but he wouldn't have been gifted the position by Newton being a dummy. The Hampton Pirates had a hell of a game! ill laugh if Virginia smashes FSU

So basically, you're saying if Cam had the right attitude/work ethic/character from the start, he would have surpassed Tebow sometime during his college days. I don't necessarily disagree, as I believe Cam is more naturally gifted, but that can be applied to just about any talented players who didn't work hard when they got to college, and to blame Cam for maturing later is silly. You just sound like a Tebow hater.

That's all i was trying to say I'm became a FSU graduate in 2011 and had a front seat to this drama for years, I just hate watching FSU make dumb decisions. like last year dropping their starting QB for three straight years in a row deondre francois because of injury and off the field issues and replace him with a QB much worse than a post injury Francois. I just see history repeating itself and as an a former alumni its irritating.

Like all the other leagues would be able to stand without their #1 team. ACC - Clemson SEC- Bama Big - OSU Big2 - OSU PAC - ??? Like, all those conferences would be considered shit besides the SEC. And I'm a Pitt alum that has always been a Big10 fan. The only complaint I think is valid is that more bowl games should be held in winter climates. The Natty should be held in Soldier Field every once in a while. Not just to help us midwesterners, but also to piss off the loser "journalists" that really just want paid vacations in Miami/LA/NO.

I always get a laugh when a game is played here and announcers gush about how opposing fans are willing to travel while the locals don't care enough. Those "fans" are just using football as an excuse to get away from their shitty cities.
