I believe it was said that the per year payment is based on % of salary cap from year to year so they cant backload it so much. its ~150M guaranteed, with up to 450M in total.

Absolutely wild contract, kid deserves it though. He is insane.

NFL? I'd probably place a few thousand on yes if I got even odds. The problem with that bet is that if I lose that bet, there's also a decent chance we are in month 6 of a multi year economic depression where I also end up losing my job.

They are going to start pretending there is no Covid if they can.

I follow a lot of law professor blogs, and they all are delirious and hysterical about how students should totally still enroll and pay full price for zoom classrooms and no one should take a gap year. And of course the new travel restrictions on foreign students is a bad idea.

These places are houses of cards fully of greedy people just like any other. They are going to do it unless the media agitation against them blows up to nearly epic proportions.

The most insane thing about it, to me, is that the meme explicitly attempts to invoke Hitler. I've seen people post Hitler quotes to troll progressives into "agreeing" with him, then laughing at them. I've seen people say and do antisemitic things. I've never before seen someone attempt to invoke Hitler as a smart guy, except one time I saw a guy say that "even Hitler wouldn't do XXX" where XXX was using Sarin gas on civilian populations, which some other dictator had done.

B1G moving to conference only this season. There are a lot of caveats to it, but it could mean a lot of FCS schools missing a lot of money. If the other conferences follow suit, well...poof goes some schools.
