Think about it. When everyone is special, no one is. The new modern era players are all pretty freaking amazing. But I honestly can't point to one player that just changed a game single handed by being on the field. That one player that no matter what, they got the ball, they made the plays to win the game. Or put it out of reach. Johnny Rodgers or Tommy Frazier of Nebraska maybe. Tebow had some good stuff but he wasn't awe-inspiring.

I'd have to check the list. But yeah, I wouldn't put them as high as you. They had maybe 1-2 seasons of good play. Young had 3. But really, they didn't stand out that much. Young had the Rose Bowl game. Watson had his CFP game. That's really the highlight of their careers.

This game is taking forever to get over with. While I like what I'm seeing, I'm getting tired. They could have started this at 6 sand still had eyeballs glued. Starting this at 7 to get the west coast is nonsense.

Lawrence looks shook. If this LSU had shown up at the beginning, this game would have been over by half. They started slow but I'm glad they found that groove. If they score this possession, it's curtains.
