Also "an algorithm"? They're just going to wave their hands and an algorithm will appear. What? They gonna use FIFA19 ratings to determine player value? :/

Im surprised at your failure to read it. The person you are looking for is Sharkie. I was just pointing out his usual lack of consistency. That having been said, Willy's choice of words was still not the best.

Someone on reddit argued that it will just result in players being sold with buyback clauses. Won't be able to make money of hording talent anymore I guess, but this rule change won't make it go away fully.

Other clubs can simply buy the player from the new club, and even if you have some "equal offer" clause or similar, the player can simply snub you if he now wants to go somewhere else. And even if you get him, you have to renegotiate a contract with the player every time, which can quickly end messy. (And precontracts a year ahead are illegal already)

Last year at this point Zidane had already lost more points and was controlling less the matches and playing worse.

I mean look at Atletico Madrid, their squad imo best i have ever seen them, attack line up of Lemar Costa and Greizman crazy, yet they are doing awful again. Simeone problem or just need time?

He will need more time, but today match was a lot better than the previous ones, with a lot of attacking chances. They deserved to win today but Eibar Serbian goalkeeper went god mode. And Rodri, the midfield Atleti got from Villareal is awesome too.

The only thing that saved Zidane's job last winter was his name and the success he had in the past two years. Lopetegui has neither of those. I'm still not even sure that he knows what he is doing. He had two hard games so far. Sevilla was a massive disaster. Today things didn't look much better. Real got lucky in the CL and Atleti is losing points, so things will probably not look as bad by the winter. That can save him. Also wtf happened to Vinicius. He is not on a loan, which means that the coach wants him. Now he is wasting his time in Castilla. In the mean time... Lucas Vazquez replaces Bale in the last minutes when Real needs goals.

Yea travelling to Bilbao and Sociedad have always been tough draws for any visiting team. This Real still plays much better ball than Zidanes for sure.

Again mixed performance from Barkley for me. A little better than the previous games, but I'd like to see him bring the ball forward more. When he came on, he played way too safe and shirked responsibility. Its only later on when he improved and we saw him do body feints to beat players. I think right now his mindset is to look to immediately pass the ball especially when he receives the ball with his back towards goal. I think there were a couple of moments when he could have turned and drove towards goal instead of slowing the attack.

In Spain "real" is Real Sociedad, We use "Madrid" for Real Madrid instead and we shortcut to Athletic instead of Bilbao xDD Even if one were familiar with that thought, it would be pointless to do that in international thread. If I say La Really and Athetlic most people scratching heads..
