Sad at how far they need to go to produce a fraud.

Which is, by the way as everybody knows though, going to replace the Confederations Cup because of how underachieving their sponsored players/teams always were at it.

This seems rather dubious. I wouldn't go so far as calling this a punch though

The brazilian troll was funnier tbh.
Pretty sure it does not matter if the punch connects or not? Ever heard of intent?
In slowmow and from behind it could really just be an optical illusion that makes it look like a punch, whereas at the time it was just messi heading for the ball and crashing into fabinho in a rather awkward way that makes it look like he was trying to get a piggyback ride.

I kind of feel like the natural reaction would be to seek a shoulder or something for balance rather than keeping the arm extended through the collision, but as you said a single angle slow mo can be pretty misleading.
I heard a Yanited fan call a Liverpool fan a glory hunter today. It's amazing how things change. Glory hunter has been a term basically reserved for Yanited fans most of my life. That may not be relevant or even interesting. But I couldn't think of anywhere else to vent.
I guess I'll have to try and think or something itneresting to say to justify this post now. 3 weeks ago I had a conversation talking about how there isn't that much of a gap between the top 6 and the rest of the league. Wolves, Eerton (at times), Watford and Leicester (again at times) have looked like they could stick it to the top teams. I was shut down by my friend who pointed out there was a 17 point gap between the top 6 and rest of the league. I couldn't believe it but it was true. I guess the best of the rest can stick it to the top 4 but just haven't been consistent enough at beating the teams below them. But here we are 3 weeks latter and Yanited, Arsenal, Chelsea and even Spurs have managed 2 wins in total between them in that time. What the fuck is going on?
Haha calling a liverpool fan a glory hunter, yes because they have won less titles than Yanited have in Klopp era xD
On Messi punch, from just that replay it should have been at least a yellow card for dangerous play and if multiple angles came out showing more intent then you can argue a red. However im not sure about the rule on what happens there, its obstruction, but then a "closed fist/slap" is thrown or connects, so it still is a freekick but Messi just gets booked/red as well? Not sure.
Noice. But that can happen when every 50-50 throw-in the linesman smiles and gives man city the call since 1st half, and you keep the ball the entire game. :O
