But let me say again, LeBron led ALL PLAYERS on BOTH TEAMS in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks while simultaneously leading his team to the first ever comeback from being down 3-1 in the finals. That overachieving should be a wash with the underachieving of the '11 finals. A LeBron, Pippen, Rodman, Kukoc, team coached by Phil Jackson wouldn't do poorly either

Limit points to 30-35 and distribute to others. Good game!

can a player be considered to have a great performance and lose in the finals consistently? how did he get those stats? compared to jordan, what was the system between them that allowed those stats? clue: see pre 1991 jordan stats when he played pg.

The Rockets seem to have brain fart games. this is correct. the term is performance margin, difference between its high and low. it is applicable to both team and player. houston has a bigger margin while warriors is more consistent. its houston real disadvantage this series.

So you say the 3-5 argument is a bullshit strawman and then say the real reason LeBron is criticized is because he hasn't been excellent in the finals. And your argument for why he isn't excellent in the finals is because he is 3-5? C'mon now...

I usually type while coding and transcribing so its a habit. And its also convenient to just type ahead quickly without worrying about caps or marks as long as we understand what we are reading. But i get your point.

In other news, Al Horford has now improved to 3-15 vs Lebron in the playoffs.

lets restart to your points. losing 5/8 in the finals means bad performance. or else what do you think were the reasons they lost? stats should be evaluated correctly, or else westbrook is goat.

I wouldn't even value Westbrook highly because I value efficiency very highly and Westbrook's efficiency, especially in the playoffs, has been trash for the last several years. If winning/losing is the metric of a good performance then it's akin to saying every player on the winning team played well and every player on the losing team played poorly. That can't possibly be the case. In two of LeBron's finals losses the 2nd leading scorers on his teams were Drew Gooden and Timofey Mozgov. In his last finals loss he played possibly the greatest team of all time. Maybe LeBron should be 5-3 instead of 3-5. But there's no way in hell Jordan gets to 6-0 playing in the finals with 2 lottery teams and against the 2017 Warriors. I think the player that has actually played the best in the finals so far has been KD. He's averaging something like 33 PPG on 50/40/90 numbers, and he played fantastic defense last year. But his record is only 1-1 in the finals.
