Harden is turning the corner and driving through the lane at will.. he didn't do this when OG was defending him in the 1st game earlier in the year. No one on the Raptors can defend Harden as well as OG. | ||

Houston went middle and got to the rim almost every time Toronto bigs stepped on to the 3 pt line. They also started extending their ball screens beyond the arc and taking deep 3s. Some were open and they missed. Explain how this new defensive scheme Casey created, which was specifically designed to stop Houston, differs from normal? And how did it stop Houston from generating open 3s? (Hint: Houston had a decent amount) | ||

If you replace Malcolm Miller and Norm Powell's minutes with Delon Wright and OG Anunoby the Raptors hold Houston to less than 105. The Raptors held the Rockets to the 2nd fewest 3s and 2nd fewest attempted 3s all year. I didn't see that coming. Again, great game planning by Casey. I don't think any other team in the NBA can turn the heat up on Chris Paul the way the Raptors can but after this game look for many other NBA teams to try to do so. | ||
