his good offense was worth more than his bad defense. he was definitely a good PG last year.
Someplace between 6th and 12th best starting PG.
His effort level on defense is high.

The Raptors bench is so hungry for minutes that when the Raptors lead by 25 points with 4 minutes left whatever guys are out there play like its the 7th game of the eastern conference final.

No, I understand how good he was last year. I believe that year will prove to be an outlier in his career numbers. and that his defense will hold him back and scare GMs away from paying him big numbers.

Its not hard. Most PGs are replacement level outside of Steph Curry. Unless you consider Lebron and Giannis PGs (you should if you still call Magic a PG).

Last year was an anomaly for IT. Bradley and Smart covered his D so much and Stevens allowed him free reign on offense that any average player taking 20-25 attempts a night will post similar numbers. And he still has the massive advantage of being 5'9. Unless he goes all championship era AI, I don't see him being relevant anymore.
