To continue the Everton discussion they don't have enough up front for my liking. With so many teams looking for the top 4 putting away the smaller teams is going to be so important this year. Not dropping 2 points in games you have dominated and need to win is going to be more important than the games between the big teams in my opinion. That’s why United weren’t top 4 last year, so many (for some reason 1-1) draws.

Everton aren’t going to win enough games despite been quite a strong team. Rooney will score but not enough for a top 4 team.

I dono hasnt been cagey since the second half Spurs have been playing with some real quality. Had some great chances.

A bit kick and rush which is typical when weaker teams have to chase the game but definately better than the Arsenal - Pool game

Thats just one team being mediocre and the other being god aweful..

I had a look at the BBC live report and it implied it was more Spurs looking for a second than hanging on. So you are right I'mpainting the wrong picture. Still at 1:0 Burnley are always a little dangerous.

No curse, just Daniel Levy thinking he is much smarter than he actually is, as usual. Selling Walker and letting the season start without replacing him has cost Spurs at least two points.
