I don't really care who wins this but I want some early goals. Let's not have one of these dissapointing neither side wants to lose early season big 6 clashes.

Look at their revenue last season, less than even WHam or Soton.

I have just been touring Korea, North East China and the Yangzte Delta for the last 2 months. I'm out of touch with civilization in general. Exeter have a great youth academy and have lived off training players and selling them on for quite a while now. I don’t really know the players or the squad any more though. I’ve complained before about how hard it is to stay in touch with a smaller club once you no longer go watch them play each week/move to the other side of the world. This game looks delicious, so open. No defense at all and plenty of potential for action.

But even with the spending I don't think it's realistic for them to be pushing for top 4. There's so much competition. Everyone has money these days. edit: They have missed the chance really. The English teams have been weak in recent years. They aren't going to be dominting Europe or anything but the big clubs are slowly starting to pull themselves together (with perhaps the exception of Arsenal).

Everyone has money these days. With respect, they have spent more on players this summer than Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool put together. I'm not saying that top 4 is a realistic goal for this season, but Koeman obviously didn't tell the chairman that his aim was to finish 7th with that kind of investment.
