I think it would've been fine in many other contexts when the club future and the country are more separated and less controversial, but especially after the Catalonia stuff it's extremely hard to RM manager being the manager for the whole country. | ||

And at Madrid, you're arriving after a guy won 3 CL in a row, with a crying Ronaldo, bailing Bale, and a president that will want to spend tons of money this summer regardless of what you say. I don't know how he thought he was going to be able to prepare for next season while the world cup was happening. Very unprofessional, and I'm happy the federation kicked him out. Now if Spain fails or if he does not perform right away at RM, he'll be hated reaaaally quickly. | ||

If anything, Hierro will be like Domenech in 2006 when France reached the final, he does not need talent, just let the big names do their stuff. He does not have anything to do, really. THE DRAMA INTENSIFIES (if that is even possible!). EDIT: Imagine a judge ruling that Trump had done something unconstitutional and suspending him from office - banning him from the White House. Then Trump holding a press conference where Sarah Huckabee Sanders declares that that judge has no authority and that Trump will go to work in the white house the next day as normal. Will the supreme court get involved? Will the police be called to barr him from entry? Will the trump followers invade Washington DC armed with pitchforks? | ||

Now Spain is fucked and the FA boss looks like an idiot. Portugal and Brazil are the big winners here. Portugal, because they will probably get easy W against Spain in the first game and Brazil, because the only other contender for the cup is gone. | ||
