Easy, even if I love him, supporting qatar would be a huge disgrace for him and I'd stop being a fan

Man City are falling into the Barca financial trap. Especially if they're over half a billion in losses just from transfers alone.

Mahrez doing a Ben arfa and is going to rot his prime away in man city.

They're not comparable imo, Ben Arfa was a huge talent, he was detected early and he had the technical skill to be the world's best, he was at the elite French football school (and he wasthe best there despite being one year younger than the rest). Unfortunately for him, his entourage lead him the wrong way and he barely learned anything about football, relying only on his skills.
On the other side of the spectrum, Mahrez had to do it the hard way without being in a professional training center, like Kanté or Drogba, he had to show his worth at every level of amateur football in France, then lower professional divisions. I don't see him slacking and I totally see him pushing Sterling on the bench for important games.

Why the hell would Liverpool even attempt to try and sign him?

He wouldn't want to be there. He also doesn't fit in with Klopp's play style.

Curiously, what is it about Klopp's playstyle that wouldnt allow Courtois to fit?

So seems like the Sporting players are really terminating their contract. Or are these just rumours?

Willam Carvalho and Rui Patricio have rescinded for real it looks like. I hope others follow.

Meanwhile Sporting's president has blocked the other governance bodies from scheduling a new general Assembly to remove him, so he's clinging to power with no way to remove him.
Time to get a new bucket of popcorn.
