Seemed like a pretty cheap penalty to me. A bit clumsy by Lovren too, but it's pretty easy to get a bit tangled up when the guy runs right into you like that. | ||

Hoffenheim been good offensively i guess is fair to say even with many missed chances. However defensively they look just as bad as Liverpool! | ||

After Liverpool's game last night or with Klopp's Borussia everyone has always been saying "they need a better defense" instead of "they need to better convert their chances". Why is that? If Liverpool would have used most of their chances to score they would have won 4-1 or something like that. Same with Arsenal games. Who cares if they concede 3 goals every game but would score 5-6 (by their chances)in return? Why is always the defense at fault when something like this happens when it's in truth the offense that is screwing up? | ||

If you have score 5 goals every game with a shoddy defense it would be awesome however the instant you don't score or score only one you lose points. Meanwhile with a defense that does not concede or only concedes one you will almost always get points out of it. Just look at Barca of the last few years, they couldn't always score multiple goals anymore but still kept conceding and were in a lot of trouble even against teams that were struggling hard in LaLiga. | ||

You can choose to aim at scoring more goals than you take but you still require a good defense. And Liverpool defense is shit, no matter what their plan is. | ||
