I was a little surprised they still play him that deep in the formation (didn't see how he positioned in the actual game though), but I guess it's enough. Interesting to see if he finally manages to stay consistently good.

Morata was awesome when he came on though, playing against 11 men with 9 and he turning and shooting fine. Who knows he be better. He scored 1 and assisted 1, Lukaku scored 2. Both god debuts

Personally I think Morata is the better football player, but Lukaku is the better goal scorer (Very cliché response, haha). Morata's awareness with that header to assist David Luiz is something you'll likely not see Lukaku make, but Lukaku just scores for fun. I rate Diego Costa higher than both, but Costa has serious behavioral issues.

despite the win i feel kinda sad for Herrera.. best player last year but I have a feeling hes not part of Mourinhos plan... Jose seems to favour 6f plus players who can contest better in the air... after all its just one game.. we got a pretty good start last year as well lets not forget... personally i got a much bigger boner when we won games we shouldnt have rather than winning one convincingly

Would love to have actual sound on that. I guess it might be a bit touchy thing with player-ref communication and all that, but would still help a lot in understanding the ref experience.

There was contact which made him fall. It's normal to ask for a foul, asking does not make it a dive.
This Real looks scary and this Barça looks past it.
